Alphonse Mucha on an Acid Trip: Chiara Bautista

This mexican Illustrator-Artist has a unique sense of symbolism and mythology that mixes elements from mexican pop-culture like the “Lucha Libre”with the idolization of pop-stars and catholic images. Her work reminds me of the Czech Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha… definitely in some sort of psychedelic trance. Birds, Luchadores and religious imagery all delicately placed in a visual orgy. Pour votre beaux yeux: Milk a.k.a Chiara Bautista.
